SUMMARY

Abstract
This clinical study investigates the efficacy of combining radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) with traditional suction-assisted liposuction (SAL) to enhance skin tightening in abdominal contouring procedures. The research aims to determine whether the addition of RFAL can achieve greater skin surface area reduction compared to SAL alone, offering a minimally invasive alternative to traditional excisional surgeries.

Conclusion
The study concludes that integrating BodyTite’s radiofrequency-assisted liposuction with traditional SAL significantly enhances skin tightening outcomes in abdominal procedures. Patients experienced a mean skin surface area reduction of 25.8% with the combined approach, compared to 10.4% with SAL alone. These findings support the use of BodyTite RFAL as a safe and effective method for achieving superior aesthetic results in body contouring without the need for excisional surgery.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Implementation of BodyTite for RF-assisted liposuction in abdominal contouring.
  • Comparison of skin surface area reduction between SAL alone and SAL combined with RFAL.
  • Assessment of tissue tightening effectiveness over a 1-year follow-up period.
  • Evaluation of patient outcomes and satisfaction with the combined procedure.
