SUMMARY
Abstract
This retrospective clinical study evaluated the effectiveness of subcutaneous radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) for midface rejuvenation in 31 patients with mild-to-moderate laxity. Using the BodyTite platform with the FaceTite handpiece, procedures combined liposuction with subcutaneous RF to reduce nasolabial fat and tighten fibroseptal network tissue. Outcomes were assessed through photographic grading and patient satisfaction surveys. Results showed a significant improvement in midface laxity scores (from 3.3 to 1.6) with high satisfaction (83.8% of patients reporting “rather satisfied” to “very satisfied”) and no major complications.
Conclusion
The study demonstrates that subcutaneous RF following liposuction is a safe and effective minimally invasive alternative to surgical facelifts for patients with early-to-moderate signs of midface aging. Benefits include enhanced skin contraction, reduced nasolabial folds, and improved contour with minimal downtime. The findings support RFAL as a viable treatment for younger patients seeking rejuvenation without scars or invasive surgery.
