SUMMARY
Abstract
This clinical study evaluated the Diolaze 810 nm diode laser equipped with a novel scanning handpiece for axillary hair removal. 14 female patients underwent three treatments, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, with follow-up assessments at 3 and 6 months post-treatment. The study aimed to measure hair reduction efficacy and confirm treatment safety in patients with Fitzpatrick skin types II–IV.
Conclusion
Results demonstrated an average hair count reduction of 72.8% at 3 months and 67.6% at 6 months post-treatment. No unexpected or serious adverse events were reported, and treatment discomfort was mild, with erythema and edema resolving within hours. The study confirms that Diolaze’s 810 nm diode laser with scanning technology is safe, effective, and provides lasting hair reduction benefits, reinforcing its role as a reliable choice in long-term laser hair removal.
