SUMMARY
Abstract
Noninvasive body contouring continues to grow in popularity, with new technologies enhancing fat reduction and muscle toning. This prospective clinical trial evaluated the Transform device (InMode), which combines bipolar radiofrequency (RF) and electrical muscle stimulation (EMS), for abdominal body contouring. Fifteen patients underwent three treatment sessions with follow-up at 1 and 3 months. Outcomes measured included abdominal circumference, ultrasound fat thickness, caliper pinch thickness, and patient satisfaction.
Conclusion
The Transform device was found to be a safe and effective noninvasive modality. Results showed statistically significant reductions in ultrasound fat thickness (−5.40 mm, P < 0.001) and caliper pinch thickness (−6.07 mm, P = 0.0036), while abdominal circumference changes were modest and variable. Patients reported high satisfaction, comfort, and no major adverse events. Transform is best suited for patients seeking safe, noninvasive fat reduction with additional muscle toning benefits.
