SUMMARY
Abstract
This prospective study investigated the clinical and biological effects of BodyFX, a noninvasive radiofrequency (RF) device that combines continuous heating with high-voltage ultrashort pulse electrical fields. Patients underwent abdominal treatments, and outcomes were assessed with histology, circumference, and ultrasound imaging. Results showed apoptosis of adipocytes, reductions in fat layer thickness, and improvements in skin quality. Histologic analysis confirmed neocollagenesis and dermal remodeling, indicating both fat reduction and skin tightening.
Conclusion
BodyFX demonstrates a safe, effective, and noninvasive option for long-term adipose tissue reduction and body contouring. The dual mechanism of sustained RF heating and pulsed electrical fields leads to adipocyte apoptosis and collagen renewal, supporting its role as a comprehensive body contouring solution.
