SUMMARY
Abstract
This IRB-approved, multi-site clinical study evaluated the safety and efficacy of combining noninvasive bipolar radiofrequency (RF) with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) for body contouring. Thirty-eight patients underwent three Transform (InMode) treatments. Assessments included ultrasound, caliper and circumference measurements, subject satisfaction, comfort, blinded photographic evaluations, and histology. Results demonstrated statistically significant improvements in adipose reduction, skin tightening, and muscle conditioning, with high patient comfort and satisfaction.
Conclusion
The study confirms that the combination of RF and EMS is a safe and effective approach for addressing soft tissue laxity, adipose hypertrophy, and muscle tone. The Transform platform provides a synergistic, noninvasive body contouring solution, yielding significant improvements in fat reduction, muscle thickening, and abdominal definition. This clinical evidence highlights the role of RF and EMS in comprehensive body shaping treatments.
