SUMMARY

Abstract
The study evaluates whether BodyTite RFAL (radiofrequency-assisted liposuction) can provide a safe, minimally invasive alternative to excisional surgery for gynecomastia. The hypothesis is that RFAL can achieve strong soft tissue contraction, glandular and fat coagulation, and aesthetic improvement without the scarring and downtime of traditional techniques.

Conclusion
BodyTite RFAL is a powerful option for treating male gynecomastia, delivering high patient satisfaction with minimal scarring and no need for secondary surgery in the majority of cases. The technology provides effective coagulation, aspiration, and tissue contraction, making it an excellent minimally invasive alternative to open procedures. In rare cases with residual glandular tissue, a simple trans-mammillary extraction can be performed with minimal cosmetic impact.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Treatment of 59 male patients using BodyTite RFAL technology
  • Majority treated with closed RFAL; minority required additional glandular extraction
  • Use of thermal energy to coagulate fat and glandular tissue
  • Built-in thermal monitoring for safety during simultaneous coagulation and aspiration
  • Strong soft tissue contraction reduces need for surgical skin excision
  • Favorable aesthetic outcomes with minimal complications
