SUMMARY
Abstract
This clinical study evaluated the BodyTite™ Radiofrequency-Assisted Liposuction (RFAL) platform in 97 patients undergoing body contouring under local tumescent anesthesia. The RFAL device delivers bipolar radiofrequency energy to liquefy fat, enhance hemostasis, and achieve skin tightening while aspirating emulsified tissue. The study assessed operative details, complication rates, and patient satisfaction, including photographic evaluations by independent surgeons.
Conclusion
Results demonstrated that BodyTite RFAL is a safe and effective minimally invasive technology for fat removal and tissue tightening in awake patients. Complication rates were acceptable (6.25% major, 8.3% minor), with over 80% of patients reporting satisfaction in contouring and skin tightening outcomes. Independent surgeons rated improvements as good to excellent in most cases. BodyTite provides a promising alternative to excisional body contouring in appropriately selected patients.
