SUMMARY
Abstract
This study evaluated BodyTite RFAL for upper arm contouring under local anesthesia in 40 patients with mild-to-moderate laxity. The technique combines bipolar radiofrequency energy with suction-assisted liposuction, improving soft tissue contraction and skin redraping without the need for excisional brachioplasty. Outcomes were assessed through patient surveys, complication rates, and independent surgeon evaluations of pre- and post-treatment photographs.
Conclusion
BodyTite RFAL for arm contouring demonstrated high patient satisfaction, minimal pain, and rapid return to normal activity. Independent surgeons rated skin tightening and contouring results as good to excellent in the majority of cases. With a low complication profile and reproducible outcomes, RFAL under local anesthesia provides a minimally invasive, scar-sparing alternative to traditional brachioplasty in appropriately selected patients.
