SUMMARY

Abstract
Vaginal laxity and sexual dysfunction can contribute to urologic symptoms, including stress urinary incontinence. Traditional interventions are often invasive or pharmacological. This study investigates the efficacy of bipolar radiofrequency (RF) energy, delivered via InMode’s RF platforms, in improving urodynamic performance and alleviating related symptoms in women seeking non-surgical treatment options.

Conclusion
The application of bipolar RF vaginal therapy resulted in measurable improvements in urodynamic performance and symptom relief for women experiencing vaginal laxity and urinary dysfunction. This non-surgical, energy-based approach—delivered using InMode’s platform—demonstrates strong potential as a safe and effective treatment option, supporting its integration into pelvic health and wellness programs.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Evaluation of bipolar RF vaginal treatments for urogenital function
  • Study of 33 women experiencing vaginal laxity and urinary symptoms
  • Use of objective urodynamic testing pre- and post-treatment
  • Significant improvements in bladder compliance, detrusor pressure, and residual volume
  • High patient satisfaction and improved quality of life measures
  • Safe, non-invasive RF-based protocol with no adverse events reported
